Our History

1978

The company MECAMOPLAST, S.L. is established in Santa Coloma de Cervelló (Barcelona), founded by Jaume Roig.

1999

Due to the expansion of the production process, the company moves to Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona).

2001

With the purchase of the company FABRIPLASTIC, S.L. in Barberà del Vallès (Barcelona), the entire production process is consolidated, allowing for comprehensive management from raw materials to the final product.

2005

New technologies are being incorporated into the machinery to optimize the company’s service and production.

2013

Relocation to Castellbisbal (Barcelona), to a 3,000m2 warehouse, where both companies are merged into the same space, with Mecamoplast being the main company.

2015

The business is undergoing a generational handover, ensuring the continuity of the company within the family sphere.

2021

Due to Mecamoplast’s business growth, the creation of a holding company is consolidated, providing solidity, security, and stability in the sector.

Who we are

We specialize in the manufacture of industrial plastic raw materials. Our activity consists of transforming the industrial waste generated by injection, extrusion, blow molding, thermoforming, etc. companies in the plastic sector into an optimal raw material for reuse, either for technical parts or for industrial parts.

We have more than ^8000m2, offering ample space for classification, pre-crushing through shredders, crushing mills, extrusion, filtering and coloring.

We have a processing capacity of 3000 tons/year, facilities with modern and efficient technology in order to offer the services of machines, raw materials in general, specific advice and guarantee a quality service.

Waste manager authorized by the Agencia de Residus de la Generalitat de Catalunya with manager number E-534.98 and waste transporter number T-1402.
